The Board will comprise from five to nine members, and will always include a majority of parents. The Board will be elected by the parents/guardians of the students attending Caprock Academy, and will operate according to the by laws laid out by the schools operating committee.

Jay Devereux

President and Parent Member

Jay is an eleven-year resident of Grand Junction and currently works for Office Outfitters and Planners as a sales consultant. He is married and has two school-aged children. Jay has worked much of his life with young people teaching golf and volunteering in Youth Golf programs.

Mardi Jacobson

Secretary and Community Member

Mardi is the mother of two boys, the oldest of which will be attending Kindergarten at Caprock Academy this year. In 1998 she received her degree in Molecular Biology and has used her knowledge of science to help plan the science curriculum at Caprock Academy. Mardi enjoys her interactions with children as a volunteer at church, with the Boy Scouts and in community soccer leagues.
