Caprock Academy’s NJHS Launches Holiday Food Drive to Support Local Families

Caprock Academy’s National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is excited to announce the launch of its annual Food Drive, running from November 4th to December 12th. This effort, led by dedicated NJHS members, aims to gather essential food items to support local families and community organizations during the holiday season.

Students, families, and staff are encouraged to contribute by donating canned goods, including beans, soup, pasta, vegetables, and other non-perishable items. Collection boxes are conveniently located in the hallways outside classrooms, making it easy for anyone in the Caprock Academy community to participate.

The food items collected will be distributed to local organizations, ensuring that those who are struggling have access to essential meals during the holidays. Caprock Academy is committed to instilling values of compassion and community involvement in its students, and this Food Drive is a perfect reflection of that mission.

The NJHS Food Drive represents Caprock Academy’s dedication to character education and service, inspiring students to become engaged citizens who actively contribute to the well-being of their community.
